Dining & Design: Vibia enaltece los comedores

Mucho más que un lugar para comer, el comedor de una casa es el lugar en que la familia y los amigos se reúnen para compartir comidas y momentos especiales. Como se puede apreciar en los espacios que aparecen a continuación, la iluminación juega un papel fundamental en la creación del ambiente adecuado. Sofisticadas y llamativas, estas luminarias enaltecen cualquier comedor al instante.

En una residencia diseñada por Graham Architecture en Laguna Beach, California, dos elegantes lámparas colgantes Flamingo, de Antoni Arola, iluminan la mesa del comedor.

Entre exquisitos paneles de madera, materiales naturales y vistas del exuberante verdor y el mar, las lámparas evocan pájaros planeando, en perfecta armonía con el ambiente orgánico y zen de este espacio. Con su presencia serena y silenciosa y su diseño deconstruido, Flamingo produce gradaciones difusas de luz LED.

En la cocina abierta de un apartamento en Lituania, Redeco.lt ha creado una zona de comedor compacta.

Sobre la mesa redonda y las sillas se presenta la lámpara LED North de Arik Levy, suspendida de una esbelta varilla. Su silueta geométrica y sobria proyecta la luz hacia abajo, destacando esta pequeña y definida zona de comedor, y su acabado en negro mate refleja la gama cromática de los detalles del espacio circundante.

Para iluminar el área de comedor de una espectacular sala de estar de doble altura en Braga, Portugal, Trama Architects ha seleccionado Wireflow, la chandelier de Arik Levy.

Etéreo, abierto y acompañado por una imponente escalera circular que es toda una declaración de intenciones, el delicado diseño tridimensional de Wireflow encaja a la perfección en este espacio de techos altos. Con sus delgados cables negros y sus terminales LED, Wireflow se convierte en un marcado punto focal sobre la mesa del comedor, sin competir en ningún momento con la impresionante arquitectura.
