Vibia ilumina un innovador espacio de coworking en San Francisco

En un barrio histórico del centro de San Francisco se encuentra Canopy Jackson Square, un excepcional espacio de coworking diseñado por Yves Behar y Amir Mortazavi.

A través de una arquitectura de vanguardia que incorpora elegantes áreas de trabajo y de descanso para tareas privadas o comunes, el proyecto de esta planta abierta que supera ligeramente los 1.200 metros cuadrados constituye una rotunda afirmación del diseño diáfano y contemporáneo, reinventando el espacio de trabajo tradicional y convirtiéndolo en un entorno que se caracteriza por sus espectaculares líneas geométricas y materiales naturales, como los suelos y las mesas de mármol, los techos de madera y el hormigón visto.

Inspirándose en el cercano e icónico barrio de North Beach, los diseñadores seleccionaron una decoración afín a sus referentes locales: los sofás verdes hacen un guiño al característico verde del cobre oxidado de la Columbus Tower, visible a través de las ventanas, y los cubículos y almohadones rosas recogen la paleta de la librería City Lights.

La iluminación minimalista incorpora las luminarias Wireflow y Wireflow Lineal -diseño de Arik Levy para Vibia-, complementando un mobiliario moderno y ergonómico. Wireflow Lineal presenta una silueta hexagonal bidimensional, a partir de elegantes cables negros y una estructura de barras de metal lacado.

En la entrada, el delicado perfil que dibujan sus finas líneas equilibra el peso de la madera que reviste el espacio.

Suspendida sobre la mesa de una sala de reuniones, Lineal crea un elegante punto focal y hace las veces de tapiz transparente de finos cables.

La ligera arquitectura de Wireflow ilumina varios despachos privados, subrayando la geometría del espacio. Contemporánea interpretación de la lámpara de araña intemporal, su perfil -destilado hasta su esencia- es apenas perceptible y tan atrevido como discreto.
