La lámpara de pie colgante North, vencedora de los PIA 2019

Diseñada por Arik Levy para Vibia, la lámpara de pie colgante North ha sido elegida ganadora del PIA (Product Innovation Award) 2019, que anualmente concede Architectural SSL Magazine.

El objetivo de este galardón es elegir y premiar las luminarias LED y los dispositivos de iluminación sin cables más innovadores del mercado, así como las marcas líderes en diversas categorías, que van desde la investigación y el desarrollo más avanzados hasta la tecnología sostenible y el desarrollo de nuevos estándares.

Creando una categoría completamente nueva en el sector y ofreciendo un sinfín de posibilidades de iluminación, la lámpara de pie colgante North es el resultado de una innovadora fusión entre la lámpara de pie y la lámpara colgante tradicionales.

Esta luminaria de silueta deconstruida surge del deseo de su diseñador de conectar visualmente el suelo y el techo para situar la luz exactamente donde se necesita.

La lámpara de pie colgante North está compuesta por tres elementos independientes: una pantalla triangular de aluminio que alberga una fuente de luz LED, una delgada tija de fibra de carbono y un elegante contrapeso que se coloca en el suelo y se conecta al cable eléctrico, actuando como soporte de la parte suspendida. Cada uno de estos elementos es adaptable.
