Palma ilumina el Gates Hotel Barcelona

Situado en la famosa Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes de Barcelona, el Gates Hotel Barcelona se encuentra en un punto privilegiado de la Avenida Diagonal, cerca del rascacielos Torre Agbar.

Recientemente, The Light Squad Studio ha diseñado y llevado a cabo el nuevo proyecto de iluminación del vestíbulo y la terraza del Gates Hotel Barcelona, combinando a la perfección las referencias históricas y modernas a esta próspera cuidad.

Abundan los materiales naturales como el mármol, el latón y el nogal, que proporcionan un ambiente exquisito y natural y conviven con lujosos tapizados en colores vibrantes, que contrastan con el tono neutro de los espacios de circulación.

En cuanto al proyecto de iluminación para este vestíbulo en forma de loft, los expertos en iluminación se han decidido por un aire moderno y elegante, estableciendo distintos puntos focales en esta zona larga y diáfana, que guían fácilmente al huésped a través del espacio.

En un extremo, Palma –de Vibia– define una acogedora zona de descanso, flanqueada por armarios y estanterías de madera oscura. Diseñada por Antoni Arola y conectando iluminación y vegetación, esta llamativa configuración colgante parece flotar en el aire.

Suspendida a diferentes alturas de un cable prácticamente imperceptible y con una exuberante vegetación en cascada, esta composición de globos de vidrio soplado recuerda a un antiguo jardín colgante. Además, situada cerca de una maceta con una palmera de gran tamaño, crea un paisaje interior, haciendo un guiño a la naturaleza y realzando la sensibilidad ecológica y el carácter relajado del hotel.

Ideal para el ambiente de una discreta biblioteca, la iluminación LED de Palma proporciona una cálida iluminación envolvente.
